GET INVOLVED

American Civil Liberties Union:
Immigrants Rights Project

The ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project is dedicated to expanding and enforcing the civil liberties and civil rights of immigrants and to combating public and private discrimination against them.

Using targeted impact litigation, advocacy, and public outreach, the ACLU protects the rights and liberties of immigrants. For more than 25 years, the ACLU has been at the forefront of almost every major legal struggle on behalf of immigrants’ rights, focusing on challenging laws that deny immigrants access to the courts, impose indefinite and mandatory detention, and discriminate on the basis of nationality.

Immigration Equality

Each year, Immigration Equality represents and advocates for thousands of LGBTQ and HIV-positive immigrants, bi-national couples, and their families. Join us at our special events and support our lifesaving work!

Anti Racism Network South Africa

The Anti-Racism Network South Africa (ARNSA) was established by the Ahmed Kathrada and Nelson Mandela Foundations in 2015. Its secretariat also includes the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR), and the Centre for the Advancement of Non-Racialism and Democracy (CANRAD). A number of other organisations in various provinces are part of the network. The network aims to ensure that local organisations are capacitated to deal with issues of racism within communities, but at the same time, form part of national and international efforts to tackle the scourge.
